We learn from the people that give their talents and their time to better the lives of others. By listening to them about the needs of the people they serve, we are better able to provide them with the material resources they need to better life in our communities. ​

Donations received at places like UXC are then given directly to the people that need them most, either through us expressly, or through others like Adrienne Casteele at H.O.P.E., who helps women reestablish their lives in the wake of Domestic Violence.

Starting in the Spring of 2017, we began more actively collecting clothes in a novel way around the city - the response was amazing.

The Stellar Work

Clothes we gather, we sort, clean and take straight to the streets of Tacoma's neighborhoods. Below are pictures  from Christmas Eve, 2018, though we give year round.
​The gratitude in the spirits of the people is obvious:

 ​We Give Directly to Those in Need all year round.

Many people don't want to have their picture taken and we ensure that we will protect their dignity. We give all year round, and at certain holidays.

Quality clothes are abundant in most of our homes, yet they do not always get used much.
​By asking others to give their extra items, we started to bridge the gap between homes and the homeless in our city's many neighborhoods.

This is an on-going project being worked out in real time, with the specific intent of working with organizations that share similar values and act with similar missions in mind.
